1 Key switch
Select operating mode:
0: Safety setting:
– All drives blocked
– UV lamps switched off
– Electrical components still energized
– Emerg ency-Stop switch active
1: N ormal mo de (all safety c ircuits must be closed; otherw ise, the
corresponding component is blocked)
– All connected peripheral devices are operated
2: Device-change position (only active for 10 min)
– Enables changing of peripheral devices (tables, stacking unit,
Heavy Roll Tool, etc.) without the main switch dropping to 0.
– All drives blocked
– UV lamps switched off
– Electrical components still energized
– Emergency-Stop switch bridged
2Lamp
For manual loading of plate media: Lamp lights up when the next plate medium
can be inserted.
3 Acoustic signaller
For manual loading of plate media: An acoustic signal is emitted when the
next plate medium can be inserted.
4Mainswitch
Switching the printer on and off (electrical components still energized)
The printer is only switched off at the main switch for maintenance or a
longer standstill.
The workstation is still supplied with po w e r wh en the printer is switched
offatthemainswitch.
Operating m o de 2 can only be maintained for max. 10 minutes. The printer
is then switched off at the main switch and must be switched on again and
reinitialized.
Theprintercanonlybeswitchedtothe0 or 1 operating mode if all the
control connections for peripheral devices are bridged. This is ensured by the
following measures:
Connection of a peripheral device
Insertion of a jumper
2.2 Workstation
2.2.1 Booting up workstation
Switch on main switch of computer.
The LED illuminates.
The computer boots up.
The Linux screen interface appears on the monitor after booting up.
