With the Flexible Board Mode button you ensure that flexible board media
are fed and removed fault-free.
4.2.2 Roll media
The following functions are available if you press the Roll Media button:
Roll Media Options You press the Heavy Roll Tool button if you use a heavy roll tool.
If the Media Detection while printing button is activated, the printer checks
whether the roll medium is running straight through the printer. If this option
is activated, med i a width tolerance fluctuations can lead to undesired
cancellation of printing, however. If you would like to avoid this, you must
deactivate this option.
4.3 Media specification
You can define the following parameters on the Specifications sub-tab:
Dimensions
Distances
Parameters for media transport
UV drying

Media Margins
In the input fields under Media Margins, you define the prin ta ble area of the
medium by entering left, right, top or bottom medium borders (Left, Right,
Top, Bottom).
UV Curing Options Under UV Curing Options, you set the power of UV lamps for curing the
printed medium. Durst recommends setting the p ower as low as necessary.
