Head Position Offset
This option adjusts the horizontal position of the print head.
Note: This value must be set to zero at install and at any time that the
Align function on the Compact 32d, 32c and 53c printers is
used.
The offset can also be saved in each message, allowing a degree of
adjustment when the message is loaded.
Head Functions
Select the appropriate button to perform the following functions:
• Test Print: Perform a single print of the selected message
Note: If the printer is in CM, the encoder must be turning in order to
make a print.
• Align (Compact 32d, 32c and 53c): Automatically set the print head
position to the roller
• Calibrate (Compact 32d, 32c and 53c): Calibrate the printer.
CAUTION: Failure to calibrate the printer at the appropriate time
can result in print head damage. See
