HAZARD INFORMATION
This document uses the following warning signs that give warning of a
hazard or danger:
Read the following important notices before using the printer. The hazard
information is prioritised into warning and caution notices.
Warning Notices
Warning notices denote a potential hazard to the health and safety of users.
These notices clearly state the nature of respective hazard and the means
by which it can be avoided.

Handling the Compact 32c, 53c / Communicator II
Cassette Printer
Denotes Danger: Electricity
Denotes General Danger
Lethal voltages are present within this equipment when it is
connected to the mains supply. Only trained and
authorised personnel may carry out maintenance work.
Observe all statutory electrical safety codes and practices.
Unless it is necessary to run the printer, disconnect the
printer from the mains electrical supply service before
removing the cover or attempting any service or repair
activity, otherwise death or personal injury may result.
The Cassette handle is for removing the cassette only. It
must not be used as a means of carrying or holding the
printer as this may result in the printer becoming detached
from the cassette causing a crushing hazard.
