LIST OF ERRORS
Use this list for quick troubleshooting problems with the printer.
Note: All error codes in the following list can trigger an error signal
EXCEPT for the ones in Error/Warning settings that have been
set to Warning or Ignore. For further information regarding Error/
Warning settings, see
“Alert Configuration” on page 3-45.
If any of the errors persist please contact qualified personnel or the
supplier.
Error No. Error Text Action
1 Error HomeSensor or
Motor
Verify that the controller is set up to the
correct printer model.
Verify that the motor can move the
print head carrier.
Use the diagnostic function to check
the home sensor.
3 Open while printing The cassette has been opened during
a printing operation.
4 LVDS data not ready LVDS is the system used to send print
information from the controller to the
print unit. A poorly grounded cable
may cause this error (especially when
printing fast).
Try lowering the print speed.
5 P/H interface not
done
The print speed exceeds the limitations
of the print head.
Lower the print speed or enable Fast
Mode.
6 Label too long The total print length (Y-offset + label)
is longer than the supported print
length. Use a lower Y-offset or shorten
the label.
7 Still ready after EOC Communication error between
controller and print unit.
