Indication of the test state
To indicate it is in the test state, the control panel:
Sounds the panel buzzer
Flashes the Trouble LED
Displays an event message in the Trouble Queue for the first test pseudo
point, provided there are no higher priority events
Displays an event message in the Monitor Queue for the service group that
was activated, provided there are no higher priority events
Drill state
The drill function activates the system notification appliances generally for
conducting a fire drill. In this state, an alarm is not transmitted to the central
monitoring station (CMS).
Output of the drill state
Upon entering the drill state, the control panel:
Activates the first activated pseudo point
Changes the active state for the device that activated
Indication of the drill state
To indicate it is in the test state, the control panel:
Activates all audible and common alarm output devices
Activates all configured visual devices
Control panel power up
Initial power up
When you power up the EST3X control panel for the first time, the LCD may
begin to show event messages on the screen as the SFS1-CPU microprocessor
begins communicating with devices. You can use the Panel Silence button to
silence the buzzer and the Acknowledge button to acknowledge any events.
