Digital audio subsystem
The digital audio subsystem consists of a variety of signal sources, integral
amplifiers, and control software. The 3X-PMI Paging Microphone Interface adds
controls for emergency voice and alarm communications to your EST3X life
safety system.
The 3X-PMI interface is designed so that when an alert page is issued the page
signal automatically overrides any other signals. Zoned amplifiers are distributed
throughout the system. They provide the demultiplexing, switching, amplification,
and circuit supervision.
