Donor Spindles

” socket, Torque wrench, Needle Nose Pliers, Rubber Mallet
IFS components, Mustang Spindles.
Make sure the grease boot is in place on the lower ball joint then mount the spindle to the lower control
arm.
Attach the castle nut and torque the ball joint to 106-149Nm (80-110 lbft) and install a new cotter pin
from the IFS components assembly.
FFR Spindles

” socket, Torque wrench, Needle Nose Pliers, Rubber Mallet
Spindle Assembly, IFS components.
Unpack and lay out the hardware for the spindles assembly.
The spindles are marked DSS (Driver Side Spindle) and PSS (Passenger Side Spindle). These
refer to the way they are mounted on the FFR Hot Rod. Which is rear steer The FFR Roadster
uses these as Front steer so they are mounted opposite, The DSS spindle is mounted on the
Passenger side and the PSS spindle is mounted on the Driver side.
Make sure the grease boot is in place on the balljoint then mount the spindle to the lower control arm.
