11. Select Use the following IP address.
12. In the IP address field enter a new IP address in the range of 192.168.1.x where x is not 7 or 10.
The last octet (final three digits) of your PC’s IP address should be different from that of the
sensor (i.e., sensor = 192.168.1.7 and PC = 192.168.1.11). The Subnet Mask field is automatically
populated with 255.255.255.0.
13. Click OK. The Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties window closes.
14. Click Close. The Local Area Connection Properties window closes.
15. Connect the sensor to your PC as shown and described in the following figure.
16. Plug the PoE injector into a power outlet.
17. Plug a CAT5e Ethernet cable from the port of the sensor to the To Network or LAN/DC or OUT
port of the PoE injector.
18. Plug a CAT5e Ethernet cable from the Hub/Switch or LAN or IN port of the PoE injector to the
Ethernet port in your PC.
Note: The port labels may vary depending on the manufacturer
of the PoE injector.
