Damage to machines through incorrect use
The CLARIS fi lter cartridge must be installed correctly. Your coff ee machine must be adapted for fi lter operation. Donotattempttheinitialinstallationorconversionyourself.Con- tactourservicedepartment.
Unpack CLARIS fi lter cartridge (Art. no. 6-pack : 1P 315 694).
Identify the water tank. The water tank must have a serrated holder for the water fi lter.
Set the starting month on the ratchet head.
Fill the CLARIS fi lter cartridge with water from the tap.
Reset the fi lter counter.  See operating instructions
of the coff ee machine
Take off
approx. 1.5 litres of hot
water (approx. 6 cups)
The coff ee machine with
