The emptying process will start as soon as the coolant temperature is low enough. It takes
roughly 30 seconds to empty the torch hosepack. During this time the LED on the welding
torch will flash roughly every second.
When the emptying process has been completed successfully, a confirmation to this effect
is displayed.
The torch body can now be changed.
Switch off the power source before changing the torch hosepack.
IMPORTANT! It is not possible to perform any welding operations with an empty torch
hosepack!
Filling the torch

Prerequisites for filling the torch hosepack:
- MultiControl cooling unit present
- Cooling unit operating mode = eco or auto
- Torch hosepack must not be in the process of being emptied via the "Empty torch
hosepack" function
- Torch hosepack must be connected up correctly
- Torch body must be fitted
The torch hosepack can be filled via the power source Setup menu or by entering a key
combination on the TIG welding torch.
Start via Setup menu
Access the Setup menu
Select the component settings
Select "Empty/fill welding torch":
Turn and press adjusting dial
A note will be displayed if the torch hosepack is empty.
Ensure that the welding torch is connected up correctly and the torch body is properly
fitted
Press the Gas-test button
