ARINC 429 Inputs:
Garmin GPS–Receives GPS labels from a panel-mount GPS navigator (GTN/GNS). A second selection is
used to find if the GPS input is from NAV 1 or NAV 2.
Garmin VOR/ILS–Receives VOR/ILS labels from a panel-mount GPS navigator (GTN/GNS) with
VOR/ILS NAV receiver. A second selection is used to find if the GPS input is from NAV 1 or
NAV 2.
Radar Altimeter - Receives Radar Altimeter ARINC 429 labels 164 and 165.
NOTE
Some panel-mount GPS navigators and NAV/COM radios do not transmit ARINC 429
data when they are in configuration mode. To verify ARINC 429 connections, make sure
these units are operating in normal mode.
