8. During the calibration at each pressure, the pressure must be held constant for 30 seconds for the

30.4.7.5 Zero-Airspeed Calibration
The ADAHRS Calibration page (configuration mode) has a selection for ADAHRS Zero-Airspeed
Calibration. This procedure is used to compensate for the noise present in the airspeed sensor while
stationary. The airspeed pressure sensor used in any G3X ADAHRS unit is very low drift and does not
typically require re-calibration. Only perform this procedure in coordination with Aviation Product
Support.
Test Procedure:
1. Power on PFD1 in configuration mode (Section 30.2
), this step can be skipped if PFD1 is already
in configuration mode.
2. Use the Touch Panel or a Move Selector Knob to select the ADAHRS Calibration Page.
3. Use the Touch Panel or a Move Selector Knob to select the ADAHRS (1, 2 or 3) that is being
configured.
4. Use the Touch Panel or a Move Selector Knob to select Zero-Airspeed Calibration
NOTE
Remove any covers from the pitot tube and static ports before initiating this procedure.
NOTE
Ensure the aircraft is indoors and stationary, in a location where it is not affected by wind
or direct breeze.
5. Use the Touch Panel or a Move Selector Knob to select Start, to begin the calibration procedure.
6. When the display reports the procedure has been Successfully competed, select DONE.
CAUTION
Completing the Zero-Airspeed calibration may impact the performance of AOA. After
completing the Zero Airspeed Calibration procedure, review AOA performance and repeat
AOA calibration as needed.
