3-3 Grease Lift Screw
1. Clean the Lift Screw with a cleaner and a cloth until all of the old grease is fully removed, using the
following sub-steps:
a. Apply Cleaner Spray to the Lift Screw. Recommended product: 3M Cleaner Spray
(3M PN 50098).
b. Use ORA Wipes (or equivalent) cloths for removing the grease from the Lift Screw. Rotate the
ORA Wipes cloth around the Lift Screw, and along the entire length of the Lift Screw as shown
below.
Take care not to use the type of cloth wipes that could disintegrate, since the loosened threads or
particles may get mixed with the grease.
Note:
When working with grease, and to protect your hands against the Lift Screw, always wear rubber
cloves.
