4. Using a voltmeter (rating 1000 V DC), check that there is no residual voltage between screws S1 and
S2 before proceeding.
WARNING
Residual voltage stored in the resonant capacitors can be dangerous. Ensure that the res-
onant capacitors are fully discharged before you handle the Mains Distribution board.
5. The XJ8 and XJ9 connectors may still have a residual voltage of 600V DC from the C1, C2, C5, C6,
C7, and C8 capacitors located behind the Mains Distribution board. Using a voltmeter (rating 1000 V
DC), check that there is no residual voltage (600V DC) between the XJ8 and XJ9 connectors con-
nectors.
