Job Card D/R A415 - Generator Board CPU EEPROMs
orientation on the EEPROM, as the label could have been stuck upside down.
Each EEPROM can be easily inserted by positioning first the lower part of pins and then press
smoothly to get pins into the upper part.
2. Visually inspect that the four EEPROMs are completely inserted in the sockets of the Generator CPU
Board.
Note:
If the label that is already on the Generator CPU Board is the same as the label supplied with the
EEPROMs, the step below to stick this label is not necessary.
3. When the 4 EEPROMs are inserted, stick the appropriate Generator label contained in the EEPROM
set on the Generator CPU board (see Table 1 on page 1628 for the Generator label references).
7-3 Restore Generator Parameters
1. Switch on the Senographe electrical power.
2. Before restoring the NV-RAM on the Generator CPU Board, you must erase the NV-RAM content.
On the Generator CPU Board to the left of the battery, remove the X2 jumper for 10 seconds and
plug it back into the X2 pins again in horizontal position.
3. Restore the Generator parameters as described in Job Card ELE A052 - Back-up/Restore Procedure
on page 771.
4. Restoring the Generator parameters will restore all the parameters except the X-ray Tube Heater
calibration. You must perform an automatic calibration of X-ray Tube Heater current in large and
small focus. Refer to Job Card CAL A012 - X-Ray Tube Heater Current on page 1673. The small
focus heater calibration requires a Mag stand or a Mag Stand simulator.
5. Because the NV-RAM was reset, the current language setting for the Generator was erased. You
must re-configure the preferred language setting for the Generator according to section 4-2, Set Lan-
guage in Job Card ELE A009 - Generator Configuration on page 561.
