when only kV is applied but no mA is applied.
DS2 X-ray Exposure Yellow ON when an X-ray exposure is taking place.
OFF when an X-ray exposure is not taking place.
DS3 Polar Working Yellow ON when polarization is applied (e.g. either during
an X-ray exposure or via the use of the proprietary
maintenance menu).
OFF when no polarization is applied.
DS4 Heater Working Yellow ON when current is applied to the heater (e.g.
either during a preparation and an X-ray exposure
or via the use of the proprietary maintenance
menu).
OFF when no current is applied to the heater.
DS5 Track 2
(Track 2 = Rh)
Yellow ON when the Rh track from the anode is selected.
OFF when the Mo track from the anode is not
selected.
DS6 Starter Working Yellow ON when the starter motor is rotating during a prep-
aration.
OFF when the starter motor is rotating (i.e. during
times other than the preparation phase).
DS7 Normal Anode Rotation Speed Yellow ON when the anode in the X-ray Tube is rotating at
a normal speed.
OFF when the anode in the X-ray Tube is not rotat-
ing at a normal speed.
DS8 Brake Yellow ON when the anode brake in the X-ray Tube is
active.
OFF when the anode brake in the X-ray Tube is not
active.
