4-3 IDC and ADS Software Kit
Different IDC and ADS Software kits are available as a FRU. To determine which IDC and ADS Software
kits you need to order, do the following:
1. Go to the Service Desktop home page (see Launching the Service Desktop on page 120).
2. Determine the system level from the Gantry Board versions displayed on the Service Desktop home
page, and by consulting Table 1 on page 63. The system level will be defined by one of the System
Level (Model Number) columns in Table 1 on page 63.
3. Order the appropriate ADS or IDC Software Kit, according to the system level as follows:

* - IDC Software 10.0.5 introduced at Penduick must only be used on the Dione 5 form factor IDC. When
changing an IDC on a pre-Penduick IB system, if no more Dione 4 IDCs exist you will receive a Dione 5 IDC
on which you must install IDC SW 10.0.5.
Note :
If the system has the CESM option, the software versions will be different to those listed in
this table. Refer to the CESM SIP for the CESM version software versions to order.
