HARDWARE FAIL-
URE
Hardware failure with the stereotix power.
1. Change the CPU Board on the Stereotactic Posi-
tioner (see the Stereotaxy Service Manual).
2. Perform a Calibration of the Stereotactic Posi-
tioner (see the Stereotaxy Service Manual).

Hardware engine failure with the stereotix A/D con-
verter.
1. Change the CPU Board on the Stereotactic Posi-
tioner (see the Stereotaxy Service Manual).
2. Perform a Calibration of the Stereotactic Posi-
tioner (see the Stereotaxy Service Manual).

DLE PATH FAILURE
Security Failure: Needle path failure.
Try to reproduce the defect by playing with the nee-
dle path lock button.
• If defect is reproducible, the Z-axis trolley is faulty
and you must change the Stereotactic Positioner
(see the Stereotaxy Service Manual).
• If defect it is not reproducible, the faulty FRU is the
Stereotactic Positioner CPU board, and you must
change the CPU Board on the Stereotactic Posi-
tioner (see the Stereotaxy Service Manual).

Security Failure: Power switch failure.
1. Change the CPU Board on the Stereotactic Posi-
tioner (see the Stereotaxy Service Manual).
2. Perform a Calibration of the Stereotactic Posi-
tioner (see the Stereotaxy Service Manual).

SOFTWARE FAIL-
URE
Software failure with the stereotix sequencing.
1. Unplug and replug the stereotix then reboot the
system from the X-Ray Console.
2. If the problem persists, replace the stereotix unit.
