2-14 JC DIAG A1107 ROTATION CONTROL FAILURE
Diagnostic for:
112/005 error code (CAN code is 0x5025) correlation error
Check the rotation motor and encoder cabling, and connections.
Recalibrate the Rotation Board (see Job Card CAL A021 - Arm Rotation Calibration on page 1679). If
the ”Potentiometer out of range” error appears during the calibration, check the rotation potentiome-
ter. Change it if necessary (see Job Card D/R A227 - Rotation Potentiometer on page 1239), and
start the calibration again.
If the rotation potentiometer unit is good and the error is still present, change the Rotation Board (Job
Card D/R A221 - Rotation Board on page 1223).
If the error persists, change the rotation motor and encoder (see Job Card D/R A228 - Rotation Motor
on page 1243).

2-15 JC DIAG A1109 ROTATION CONTROL FAILURE
Diagnostic for:
112/010 error code (CAN code is 0x5004) optical fork error
First check whether the optical fork has in fact been reached:
If it has been reached, rotate the arm manually by moving the timing belt on the worm gear.
Check for play in the gearbox and for tightness of the timing belt. Recalibrate the Rotation Board (see
Job Card CAL A021 - Arm Rotation Calibration on page 1679), and try the movement again.
If the ”Potentiometer out of range” error appears during the calibration, check the potentiometer.
Change it if necessary (see Job Card D/R A227 - Rotation Potentiometer on page 1239), and start
the calibration again.
If the problem is still present, change the Rotation Board (Job Card D/R A221 - Rotation Board on
page 1223).
If optical fork is not reached:
- Check the optical fork cable and connections.
- If the cable and connections are good, change the optical fork.
If the error persists, recalibrate the Rotation Board (see Job Card CAL A021 - Arm Rotation Calibra-
tion on page 1679).
If the error persists, change the rotation motor and encoder cables (see Job Card D/R A228 - Rota-
tion Motor on page 1243).
