3 PROCESSOR TESTS
3-1 Short Test
• Type of test: SUN VTS
For both V1/V2 and V3 Control Stations, from the command window, enter:
/opt/SUNWvts/bin/fputest –v –n
3-2 Long Test
• Type of test: SUN VTS
For both V1/V2 and V3 Control Stations, from the command window, enter:
/opt/SUNWvts/bin/fputest –v –f
4 HARD DRIVE TESTS
V1/V2 Control Stations have two hard disks with device names c0t0d0 and c0t1d0. V3 Control Stations
have one large hard disk with device name c1d0.
4-1 Short Test
• Type of test: SUN VTS
For V1/V2 Control Stations to perform a short test on hard disk with device name c0t0d0, from a
command window, enter:
/opt/SUNWvts/bin/disktest –v -n -o dev=c0t0d0
For V1/V2 Control Stations to perform a short test on hard disk with device name c0t1d0, from a
command window, enter:
/opt/SUNWvts/bin/disktest –v -n -o dev=c0t1d0
For V3 Control Stations to perform a short test on hard disk with device name c1d0, from a command
window, enter:
/opt/SUNWvts/bin/disktest –v -n -o dev=c1d0
4-2 Long Test
• Type of test: SUN VTS
For V1/V2 Control Stations to perform a long test on hard disk with device name c0t0d0, from a com-
mand window, enter:
/opt/SUNWvts/bin/disktest –v -f -o dev=c0t0d0
For V1/V2 Control Stations to perform a long test on hard disk with device name c0t1d0, from a com-
mand window, enter:
/opt/SUNWvts/bin/disktest –v -f -o dev=c0t1d0
For V3 Control Stations to perform a long test on hard disk with device name c1d0, from a command
window, enter:
/opt/SUNWvts/bin/disktest –v -f -o dev=c1d0
