• Type of test: SUN VTS
On V1/V2 Control Stations, from a command window, enter:
/opt/SUNWvts/bin/pmem –v -f -o size=100
On V3 Control Stations, from a command window, enter:
/opt/SUNWvts/bin/pmemtest –v -f -o size=100

6-1 Short Test
• Type of test: SUN VTS
On V1/V2 Control Stations, from a command window, enter:
/opt/SUNWvts/bin/vmem –v -f -o amount=100
On V3 Control Stations, from a command window, enter:
/opt/SUNWvts/bin/vmemtest –v -f -o amount=100
6-2 Long Test
• Type of test: SUN VTS
On V1/V2 Control Stations, from a command window, enter:
/opt/SUNWvts/bin/vmem –v –f -o reserve=100
On V3 Control Stations, from a command window, enter:
/opt/SUNWvts/bin/vmemtest –v –f -o reserve=100

8 FLOPPY DRIVE TESTS
• Type of test: SUN VTS
Note:
Floppy drive tests are only applicable to V1/V2 Control Stations.
1. From a command window, log in as root as follows:
a. At the ADS prompt enter:
su
