13 AWS-IDC LINE TEST (EXTERNAL)
• Type of test: SUN VTS
For V1/V2 Control Stations from a command window, enter:
/opt/SUNWvts/bin/nettest –v -f -o dev=hme0,target=IDC
For V3 Control Stations from a command window, enter:
/opt/SUNWvts/bin/nettest –v -f -o dev=nge1,target=IDC

Note:
Motherboard serial port tests are only applicable to V1/V2 Control Stations because the V3 Control
Stations do not have onboard serial ports.
On V1/V2 Control Stations, from a command window, enter:
/opt/SUNWvts/bin/sptest –v –n -o L=I,T=a_b
