Explanation: The bus referred to in this discussion is the communications bus internal to the Analyzer. This error 
will also occur if an AutoRange protocol is started and one or more calibrations in the Calibration group have 
been deleted. Archiving the Datastore manually may alleviate the issue. See “
Archiving the Data History” on 
page 170 for instructions. If this error persists, please contact GE Analytical Instruments.
6428 – Flash Card Error
Message: “An error has been detected within the flash card. Shut down the Analyzer and power cycle. To avoid 
re-occurrence, always shut down the Analyzer prior to turning off the power. If the problem persists, please 
export the errors and contact GE Analytical Instruments for further instructions.”
Explanation: An error has been detected in the flash memory card on the Analyzer’s System Controller Board.
6429 – Network Error
Message: “This is an error that occurs when the InnovOx is trying to communicate with a network. Shut down 
the Analyzer, turn off the power and reconnect the network cable. You may need to contact your IT department 
for more information. If the problem persists, please export the errors and contact GE Analytical Instruments for 
further instructions.”
Explanation: An error inside the Analyzer has been detected that prevents communications with a network.
6430 – Touchscreen Error
Message: “Please shut down the Analyzer and power cycle. If the problem persists, shut down the Analyzer and 
power down. Then, check the cable connections. You may be able to regain control of the unit by plugging a 
mouse into any of the USB port. If the problem persists please export the errors and contact GE Analytical 
Instruments for further instructions.”
Explanation: This error can be troubleshot by shutting down the Analyzer and turning off the power. Access the 
display assembly, and inspect the connections and the gasket that surrounds the touchscreen. Re-seat the 
connections and realign the gasket. If the problem persists, contact GE Analytical Instruments.
NOTE:
It is not abnormal for the yellow LED on the NDIR board to blink faster. However, on Analyzer start-up the 
rate should be consistent with the other boards’ LEDs.
