Chapter 4: Installation
Attach a short piece of the same tubing to the Luer-Lok adapter fitting on the pump outlet on the bottom of the
pump head. The other end of the tube is attached to the selected Sample Cup inlet.
Installing the Wastewater Sampler
Figure 14: Wastewater Sampler
The Wastewater Sampler pipe assembly, inlet tubing, and two brackets for the Wastewater Sampler are packed
separately and placed within the Analyzer’s main shipping container. You will need to attach the bracket to the
side of the Analyzer and install the sampler pipe assembly using one of two configurations (velocity method or
the overflow method), as described in the following procedures.
NOTE:
In 5-stream Analyzers, Pump #1 may be used to pump Stream #1 and #2. Pump #2 may be used to pump
Stream #3 and #4. Do not mix the Streams and Pumps.

Note: In applications with sample temperatures above
85
° C (185° F), the 1-in. flexible sample tubing should
not be used. The samples should be plumbed with rigid
piping suitable for the sample temperatures and any
corrosive properties the sample might exhibit.
