12. Insert the ends of the U-bolt through the holes on the sensor, and then attach and secure a washer and
nut finger-tight. (Do NOT use an additional tool to tighten, as this may break the sensor.)
13. If you have the fail-safe option, repeat steps 10
through 12 for each stream.
14. Connect the pipe farthest from the instrument (the pipe without the internal sipper tube) to the sample
source. (See Figure 19:
Velocity Method — Installation on page 93.)
15. Connect the pipe nearest the instrument (the tube with the internal sipper tube) to the waste outlet.
