Step Task Expected Results

Cursor Position Adjust the M Cursor position with the TRACKBALL in the 2D Single image.

Activation of M Mode Press the right or left trackball key
to activate both Modes (2D/M).

M Mode Gain Rotate the M MODE
key to adjust the sensitivity (brightness) of the entire M image.

M Mode Depth Common with 2D Mode Depth.

AMM (optional) Anatomical M-Mode displays a distance/time plot from a cursor line.

Display Format e.g., In the Dual format, two defined distances can be displayed at the same time.

SPEED
By touching up or down, four different sweep speeds can be selected.

INVERT
Invert of the M Mode image. (Function is only available with endovaginal probes.)

FREQUENCY

Common with 2D Mode Frequency resp..

DISPLAY FORMAT For selection of different rations of display format.

REJECT It determines the amplitude-level below which echoes are suppressed (rejected).

DYN.CONTR. Dynamic Range enhances a part of the grayscale to make it easier to display pathology.

ENHANCE
Due to this function a finer, sharper impression of the image is produced.
