8-2-5 System Software - Installation Procedure (FMI from DVD) (cont’d)
9.) Click the FMI FROM DVD button (see: Figure 8-3 on page 8-6) for updating the System Software.
10.)Verify that only the DVD drive is connected to the system, then click OK
(Figure 8-4 below).
11.)To start update procedure click YES
(Figure 8-5 below).
The system saves Full Backup in silent mode on R:, then it reboots into LINUX.
A silent “Rollback” image from C:\ is stored on R:\.
After executing all LINUX commands, the system reboots again.
NOTE: If the currently installed software has to be upgraded to a newer version, and the system DVD being
used is SW 9.0.3 or higher, a new software specific “Permanent key is required.
• Enter the appropriate “Permanent Key”
(calculated in OKOS), select OK and confirm with ENTER.
• If the entered Permanent key is correct, following window appears, confirm with ENTER
