Export Conguration Data
During a CCM session, conguration data that is created is temporarily stored in the computer’s
volatile memory (RAM). It is not saved to disk by default. To save this data, it must be exported to a
conguration le.
1 On the Home screen (
Figure 82 (page 78)
), in the lower right corner, click the Export to File
button.
2 The Export to File dialog box (
Figure 98
) is displayed with a check box next to each type of
conguration data. If any of the items are in bold, the conguration data was changed in the
session.

3 Check the box for the data items that need to be exported.
4 Click OK.
5 Select a location to save the le, edit the lename, and click Save. Conguration data is saved
in the conguration le (.cfg). If this le is imported, the data in it will be loaded into the CCM
session.
8.4.2.4
Import Conguration Data
Conguration data can be imported from a conguration le (.cfg) or the instrument into a CCM
session and can be edited before it is sent to instruments.
There are 2 ways to import data into a CCM session (
Figure 82 (page 78)
):
Read from Instrument – On the Home screen, in the upper left corner, select the Read from
Instrument button.
Import from Conguration File (only if conguration le exists) – On the Home screen, in the
lower right corner, select the Import from File button.
NOTE: To import the conguration settings from an existing instrument, rst read from the instrument,
edit the conguration data, and then send to the instruments or to a group of instruments.
