Congure Instruments (Instrument Settings)
1 Click the Instrument Settings button.
The Instrument Settings dialog box (
Figure 89
) is displayed.
2 At the top of the dialog box, select the appropriate tab (General, LQC Settings, EQC Settings,
Barcode Settings, or Version Info).
3 Select the settings:

NOTE: If the value of a Yes/No drop-down list is
blank (if it is not Yes or No), the existing setting on
the instrument will remain the same when the data is
sent to the instrument.

4 Click OK to save the changes and return to the Home screen.

General Parameters
Allow Patient and LQC
Database Erase
Choose whether to allow
Supervisors
to erase (delete) test results (patient and
LQC tests) from the database using the instrument menus:
YesAllow the database to be erased.
No – Do not allow the database to be erased.
LQC Hide Choose whether to display Pass or Fail instead of numeric test results after an
LQC test:
Yes – Displays a Pass or Fail test result.
No – Displays a numeric test result.
Show Detailed Test
Information
Choose whether to allow
Operators
to see the number of patient tests allowed
after the LQC Interval expires:
Yes
Operators
can see the number of patient tests allowed.
No
Operators
cannot see the number of patient tests allowed. The number is
not shown.
OID/PID Automatic
Logout Hours
(HHH:MM 0:00–720:00)
The number of hours (0:00–720:00) before
Operators
are automatically logged
out.
