change the settings on each tab.

LQC Lockout
Settings
Interval If LQC is required:
Fixed Time Schedule – The LQC is required to run at a specied time. Factory
default value is xed (e.g.,
Congured time: 9 am, interval 24 hr. User start LQC at
8 am, next LQC will be required to run at 9 am [same day]
).
Rolling – The LQC test will be run at a specied interval. The start time will be based
on the start time of the last successful LQC test (e.g.,
Congured time: 9 am, interval
24 hr. User start LQC at 8 am, next LQC will be required to run at 8 am
).
LQC Level (1/2) Cong
LQC Level (1/2)
Required
Choose whether to require (Yes) or not require (No) the QC lockout feature associated
with LQC tests:
Yes – LQC Level 1 and/or Level 2 is required.
No – LQC Level 1 and/or Level 2 is not required.
CAUTION: If the LQC test feature is required (Yes), the instrument will be required to
run LQC tests at regular intervals. The factory default setting for this feature is not
required (No) but can be changed using CCM. The manufacturer recommends that it be
required (Yes). The decision to require (Yes) or not require (No) this feature shall be
determined by and is the responsibility of the each institution.
When QC lockout occurs, a
Supervisor
must clear the lockout before an
Operator
can
run a test.
Start Time
(HH:MM) (24 hr)
The time of day that the LQC Interval starts running.
The current time from the PC is automatically populated by default. Enter the value in
24 hour time format (e.g., for
7:00 pm
, enter
19:00
).
Start Date The date the LQC Interval starts running.
Number of LQC
Level (1/2) Tests
Failed
A counter that displays the number of additional failed LQC tests that
Operators
have
run. This value is read-only.
After the rst LQC test fails, the counter is incremented each time an additional
LQC test fails.
