Run an EQCTest
Before Running an EQCTest:
NOTE: If a test cartridge was left in the instrument from a previous test, remove and dispose in a
biohazardous waste container.
Run an EQCTest:
1 On the Home screen, select (Quality Control).
2 Select the EQC tab (

).

3 Select (Start Test).
The EQC test starts. Information about test progress is displayed (
Figure 60
).
If the EQC tab displays (EQC Interval Expired) or (Testing Failed), the EQC Interval has
expired or the previous EQC test failed (
Figure 59
).

NOTE: The QC status is also displayed on the QC icon located on the Home screen. (QC Expired) for
Expired and (QC Failed) for Failed.
NOTE: To abort the test, select (Abort Test) at any time (Figure 60).

NOTE: By pressing (Home) or (Back), the test can be canceled.
