8.4.5 Update Instrument Software
Use CCM to update the instrument software (rmware).
1 Get the build package that contains the latest instrument software from the manufacturer:
GEMH100.zip
2 Log into CCM as a Supervisor .
3 Ensure the instrument that needs to be updated is connected to the network and the power supply
cable.
NOTE: If (Ethernet) or (Wi-Fi) is displayed in the status bar of the instrument screen, the
instrument is connected to the network.
4 Under Instrument Selection and Control ( Figure 82 (page 78) ), in the drop-down list, select the
instrument that needs to be updated.
5 The icon to the right of the instrument name indicates whether a network connection is established
between the instrument and CCM.
Network connection is established. Go to the next step.
Network connection is not established. See “Install CCM Software and Congure Firewalls” (page 73) .
6 Click the Update Software button.
7 Select the instrument software build package:
GEMH100.zip
8 Click Open and then select OK in the dialog box to conrm the download.
9 The updating process begins. During the process, the instrument is automatically shut down and
restarted twice, so allow time for the process to run.
8.4.6 Update Wi‑Fi Enterprise Certicate
Use CCM to Update Wi‑Fi Enterprise Certicate:
1 Log into CCM as a Supervisor .
2 Ensure each instrument that needs to be updated is connected to the network.
NOTE: If (Ethernet) or (Wi-Fi) is displayed in the status bar of the instrument screen, the
instrument is connected to the network.
3 Under Instrument Selection and Control ( Figure 82 (page 78) ), in the drop-down list, select the
instrument, group of instruments, or all instruments that need to be updated with the Wi‑Fi Enterprise
Certicate.
4 The icon to the right of the instrument name indicates whether a network connection is established
between the instrument and CCM.
Network connection is established. Go to the next step.
Network connection is not established. See “Install CCM Software and Congure Firewalls” (page 73) .
5 Click the Update Certicate button.
6 Select the Wi‑Fi Enterprise Certicate le, click Open, and then select OK in the Update Certicate
dialog box ( Figure 99 ) to upload the certicate onto the instrument.
