Patient Test Results Data
As a complementary feature, during an active singular procedure, the GEM Hemochron 100 instrument can
display up to 10 sequential patient test results on the left side of the display screen. To access these test
results, select (Information) (
Figure 50
). To close this feature, select (Information).

This feature can be helpful for patient management (e.g., during cardiopulmonary bypass or atrial ablation
procedures) by showing in a list the baseline and the sequential ACT tests to that particular patient (up to
10 test results).
The test results displayed will only be available for the current PID and automatically cleared when a new PID
is recorded.
NOTE: If PID is not required, the test pane will display No Patient ID, and the last 10 test results will not be
associated to any PID (Figure 51).

Test Interval Timer Feature (Optional)
This is an optional feature used to notify the
Operator
that a specied period of time has elapsed since the last
patient test. Once the Test Interval Timer has expired, the
Operator
receives a notication (
Figure 52
). This
notication can be accompanied by 1 audible beep and/or an audible beep that is repeated every minute until
the
Operator
acknowledges the notication by selecting Ok.
