Setting Description
Operator ID Options
OID Required Choose whether to require Operators to enter their OID before they run a patient
or LQC test:
• Yes – Operators must enter their OID.
• No – Operators cannot enter their OID.
Registered OID
Required
Choose whether to require Operators to enter an OID associated with the
instrument Operator account created in CCM:
• Yes – Operators must enter a registered OID.
• No – Operators can enter any OID.
OID Scan Only Choose whether to require Operators to scan their OID:
• Yes – Operators must scan their OID.
• No – Operators can scan or manually enter their OID.
Valid Password
Required
Choose whether to require that Operators enter a valid password before they run
a test:
• Yes – Operators must enter a password.
• No – Operators are not required to enter a password.
OID Reuse (HHH:MM
0:00 or 0:30 to
720:00 hours)
The period of time that an OID can be reused. To prevent an OID from being
reused, enter 0:00 to disable this option.
LQC Lot Options
LQC Lot Pre-stored

Choose whether to require that Operators only use LQC lots that have been
registered in (added to) CCM:
• Yes – Operators must only use registered LQC lots.
• No – Operators can use any LQC lot.
LQC Lot Scan Only Choose whether to require Operators to use the barcode scanner when entering
the LQC lot information:
• Yes – Operators must scan LQC lot information.
• No – Operators can scan or manually enter LQC lot information.
Patient ID Options
PID Required Choose whether to require Operators to enter a PID before they run a patient test:
• Yes – Operators must enter a PID.
• No – Operators are not required to enter a PID.
PID Scan Only Choose whether to require Operators to use the barcode scanner when entering
PIDs:
• Yes – Operators must scan PIDs.
• No – Operators can scan or manually enter PIDs.

The minimum number of characters allowed for a PID.

Date/Time Format
Options
Date Format Specify the format of how the date will be displayed (e.g., MM/DD/YYYY,
DD/MM/YYYY, or YYYY/MM/DD).
Time Format Specify the format of how the time will be displayed (e.g., 12 hour or 24 hour).
Use Network Provided
Time
Choose whether to automatically synchronize with the date and time provided by
the network:
• Yes – Synchronize the date and time with the network.
• No – Do not synchronize the date and time (must be set manually).
Time Zone The time zone in which the instrument is operated.
