3 Initial operation

3.1 Put the control device into operation

NOTE

The battery is not fully charged when the control device is delivered. The battery

must be fully charged before initial operation.

NOTE

In order to be able to attribute possible error messages to a certain time, the date

and time must be set. The set date and time are displayed in the System

information menu.

1. Fully charge the control device [8Page19].

Ø The control device is activated.

Ø The control device is charged.

2. Set the date and time [8Page40].

3.2 Charge the control device

NOTE

The charging time for a fully discharged battery is approx. 6 hours.

The control device can be used with the following products:

• Stationary charging station (1009.24A0)

for connection to the AC mains 100–240 V AC

• Mobile charging station (1009.24B0)

for connection to the AC mains 100–240 V AC

• Stationary charging station (1009.24C0)

for connection to the 24 V DC mains

• Cable (1009.27A0)

for connecting to the OTESUS 1160.01, MEERA CL 7000.01, MEERA ST 7100.01, MEERA

7200.01, CORIN 7700.01 operating tables

The mobile charger/the stationary charging station have several functions:

• Safe storage of the control device

• Charging the control device

• Automatic unlocking of the activated sleep mode [8Page41]
