364 THE HASSELBLAD MANUAL
All charts #3 to #8 (both in A and B) show the width W and Height H of the area covered
with different tubes and lenses and with the lens focused at infi nity and at its closest focusing
distance. These charts also show the magnifi cation m. Charts A2 and B2 are for the 6 4.5
lm format, Charts A3 and B3 for the 36.7 49.0 sensor and Charts A4 and B4 for the 33.1
44. 2 sensor with all dimensions in inches on the A charts and in the metric system in the B
charts.
The other charts (A5 to A8 and B5 to B8) give the same information for combinations of
extension tubes.
Example: The 150 mm lens set at infi nity with extension tube 26 covers an area 13
9.6 in. on the fi lm format.
The same lens and tube combination would cover an area 10.3 7.7 in. on a 33.1 44.2
sensor.
In all charts, gures in blue indicate that this combination of lens and tubes can be used
for photography but that the automatic focusing system does not work. You must focus manu-
ally using the focus indicators as a guide.
