Welcome to Phocus, the link between raw Hasselblad digital captures and the demands of the
professional photographic world.
Phocus is the fi le processing software that is included with all Hasselblad digital camera
products. It has its foundation in the experience gained by many years of continual develop-
ment of FlexColor, the previous generation of Hasselblad digital software. But Phocus takes
a leap forward by utilising a completely new user interface to meet present expectations. Its
calm and clean layout, customizable to suit most demands, provides the background for effi -
cient workfl ow in capture and post production environments.
Phocus provides the tools to convert the brand specifi c 3FR fi les into the optimum image
and save them in a fi le format of your choice. The software is powerful enough to provide
a professional level image fi le for direct use. These fully optimized fi les can then be further
developed in post-production software, if desired, with much reduced time and effort at that
stage.
Phocus also provides an interface for direct tethered shooting with Hasselblad equip-
ment. This affords the optimum in ease of use and rapid workfl ow as captures are processed
on the fl y, appearing in seconds on the computer screen for instant detailed assessment and
adjustment.

ence. It has been designed to be an extension of the way photographers think in terms of
image fi le processing and enhancement, using regular and recognizable computer interface
