Is solenoid unlocked
when “Solenoid
valve/pump test” is
conducted?

Remove the connector once and
reconnect it.
Does the lever handle
touch solenoid-pin?
Yes
No
Push the lever handle into backward.
Caution
(*1) Should two connectors of ink/makeup
solenoid be swapped, restore them to their
original position.
Is solenoid unlocked when
“Solenoid valve/pump test”
is conducted?
Does MV1 work
during “Solenoid
valve/pump test”?
Swap the two connectors of Ink
solenoid cable (13) and Makeup
solenoid cable (14) and then check
if the solenoids can be unlocked
during “Solenoid valve/pump
test”. (*1)
Replace the solenoid which cannot
be unlocked in the first place.
