Keycaps
Computer disassembly is not required to replace a keycap.
1. Grasp keycap puller, HP PN 5040-7433, and insert beside keycap to be removed as shown
in Figure 4-32.

2. Pull tool firmly upwards to remove keycap from keyswitch.
Note
Keycap part numbers and drawings of the various language keyboards
are in Chapter 5.
Reassembly Note
Install the new keycap by pressing it firmly into place on the keyswitch.
