Symptom
388-Memory Failure – Uncorrectable Memory Error – The failed memory module could not be determined.
Action: Inspect the IML for another event that may indicate what memory module has failed.
Cause
An uncorrectable error occurred on a DIMM or NVDIMM.
Action
Review the Integrated Management Log for information on which DIMM or NVDIMM failed.

389-Unexpected Shutdown and Restart
Symptom
389-Unexpected Shutdown and Restart – An undetermined error type resulted in a reboot of the server.
Action: If issue persists, contact HPE service.

The shut down unexpectedly.

Symptom
390-On Package High-Bandwidth Memory Failure – Uncorrectable Memory Error – Processor X. Action:
Replace processor.
Cause
The processor has failed.
CAUTION:
Before removing or replacing any processors, be sure to follow the processor troubleshooting guidelines
in "Performing Processor Procedures in the Troubleshooting Process" in the HPE ProLiant Gen9
Troubleshooting Guide, Volume I: Troubleshooting. Failure to follow the recommended guidelines can
cause damage to the system board, requiring replacement of the system board.
Action
Replace the processor.
