Symptom
Storage Enclosure: The enclosure is reporting a critical temperature status condition. Power off the enclosure
immediately.
Cause
A required fan is missing or not spinning.
One or more fans have failed.
Airflow from the fans is obstructed.
Action
1. Power off the enclosure immediately.
2. Be sure that all the fans are connected and operating.
3. Replace any defective fans.
4. For better airflow, remove any dust buildup from fans or other areas.
5. If the issue persists, contact Hewlett Packard Enterprise support. For more information, see "Accessing
Hewlett Packard Enterprise support."
