CIM15H-33
The CIM15H-33 port processor (Part #030003-012) uses the same foundation as the
CID15H port processor, but adds a V.32bis modem and supporting circuitry for use as a
dial backup module. In addition to the 14.4 dial backup, the CIM15H-33 port processor is
capable of all functions performed by the CID15H port processor. The addition of the
DLZ01 compression module can normally achieve near 56K throughput.
The CIM15H port processor can be used in a central or remote IEN 2000, IEN 3000, IEN
4000 or IEN 5000 chassis, and is also can be used to communicate with the dial backup
used in the IEN 1000 chassis.
Figure 3-14 illustrates the bus communications for the CIM15H-33 port processor.
