US - Enable Error Reporting
Purpose: This command is used to enable the status reporting feature with
optional direct recovery.
Syntax: US [A] [B] [E]

Remarks: Any or all parameters can be activated at the same time. Refer to
Appendix A for information on error types.
Parameters are saved in Flash memory.
The format of the error messages is controlled by the eR
command.
Example:
The table shows an example of the US command with a reply.
US Command Parameter Descriptions
Parameter Description
A If any error of type A occurs, the printer attempts
to directly recover and continue in normal mode
with no stop for recovery. Often performed with
the Feed key.
B If any error of type A occurs, the printer attempts
to directly recover and continue in normal mode
with no stop for recovery. Often performed with
the Feed key.
E Error 13 LTS reply control (label taken sensor).
Returns error 13 if LTS detects a label before and
after printing.
Command Reply Explanation
USABE
<ACK> Activate all error flags.
eRQ,6,R
Setup user-defined error/status character control to Q for
<XOFF> and R for <XON>.
N
Clears image buffer errors.
AA
Erroneous command type A (syntax error).
P
<NAK>01Q Print image buffer with error 01,
R Direct recovery error 01 (type A) and continue.
