8 ESim for the PC4 and PF8 Printer Programmer’s Reference Manual
Most computer-based systems send CR/LF when pressing the
Enter key. The CR (carriage return) sent in a CR/LF sequence is
ignored. Sending a CR alone has no effect.
Refer to Chapter 2, “Command List” on page 11 for
information on when the various commands can be used.
Field
Each command line of printable data creates a field with certain
values for start position, rotation, magnification, and so forth.
The illustration shows how a label is printed and fed out using the default
direction.
ESim commands and parameters must be used only as
described in this manual. Use of unknown commands and
parameters may cause permanent printer malfunction.
