INTRODUCTION
Option Authorization File (OAF)
allows customers to customize and configure the Maxor according to particular
needs, thus only purchasing those options needed.
Typically, all Maxor receivers ship with a t
emporary OAF that allows
the
receiver to be used for a predetermined period of time. When the receiver is
purchased, a new OAF activates desired, purchased options permanently.
Receiver options remain intact when clearing the NVRAM or resetting the
receiver.
The OAF enables the following kinds of functions. For

• Memory (standard 0 MB; for Maxor-GD/GG, optional up to 512 MB for
