Leak Checking
Leak check compressors, fittings and piping to assure
no leaks. Verify the evaporator distributor tubes do not
have bare copper touching each other or are against
a sheet metal edge. If you are leak checking a unit
charged with R-410A make sure the leak test device is
capable of sensing refrigerant R-410A.
If the unit is functioning satisfactorily during the initial
operating period, no safeties trip and the unit controls
are functioning properly, the rooftop unit is ready to be
placed into operation.
Gas Heat Models
Installation of this furnace at altitudes
above 2000 ft (610 m) shall be made
in accordance with the High Altitude
Accessory Kit Installation Instructions
(100.50-N16) available with this furnace.

• Before servicing, disconnect all electrical power
to furnace.
• When servicing controls, label all wires prior to
disconnecting. Reconnect wires correctly.
• Verify proper operation after servicing.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS
• Do not try to light any appliance.
• Do no touch any electrical switch; do not use
any phone in your building.
• Leave the building immediately.
• Immediately call your gas supplier from a neigh-
bor's phone. Follow the gas supplier's instructions.
• If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the
re department.
Installation and service must be performed by a quali-
ed installer, service agency, or the gas supplier.
