TheshortdirecttemperaturesensorhasbeendesignedaccordingtotheEuropeanstandardforheatenergymeters
EN1434‐2.Thetemperaturesensorisconstructedtobemounteddirectlyinthemeasuringmedium,i.e.without
sensorpocket,bywhichyouobtainanextremelyfastresponsetotemperaturechangesfrome.g.domestic
water
exchangers.
Thesensorisbasedontwo‐wiresiliconecable.Thesensorpipeismadeofstainlesssteelandhasadiameterof4
mmatthepoint,wherethesensorelementisplaced.Furthermore,itcanbedirectlymountedinmanyof
Kamstrup’sflowsensortypes,whichreduces
theinstallationcosts.Theshortdirectsensorisavailableina27.5mm
version,typeDS27.5mm,andina38mmversion,typeDS38mm.TheshortdirectsensorcanbeusedinPN16
installationswithamaximummediumtemperatureof150°C.
