pressingonofthekeys,whichareplacedonthemeter’s
front.Furthermore,MULTICAL®603canbeconfiguredwith
lightinthedisplay,whichautomaticallyturnsoff15secondsafterthelatestactivationofakey.
Depending on the selected integration mode (L‐code), the display either switches off 4 minutes after the latest
activationofakeyorremainssw itched
on.Atthesametime,itispossibletochooseanintegrationmodeinwhichthe
display’sbackgroundlightremainslit.Thustheselectedintegrationmodeinfluencesthemeter’sbatterylifetime.Read

TECH‐loop
Thisloopisintendedfortechniciansandisnotconfigurable.TheTECHloopcontainsalldisplayreadings,with
theexceptionofloggedvaluesandthedifferentialregisters,andth isloopisnotconfigurable.Theloop
comprisesreadingssuchasserialnumber,date,time,configno.,softwarerevisionandsegmenttest.See
paragraph6.2foracompleteoverviewofthereadings.
SETUPloop
SETUPloopisintendedforthetechniciantoo.Inthisloopthetechniciancanconfigurethemeterviathefront
keys.Ingeneral(unlessotherwiseinformedbythecustomer),theloopisopenintransportstate.Whenthe
meterforthefirsttimeregistersaflowof1
%ofqporlarger,theaccesstotheSETUPloopisblocked.Fromnow
onitisnolongerpossibletoaccessSETUPloopunlessyoubreaktheinstallationseal.Seeparagraph6.3for
