MULTICAL®603canbetestedasacompleteenergymeterorasasplitmeterdependingontheavailableequipment.
Thehigh‐resolutiontestregistersarereadfromthedisplay,viaserialdatareadingorviahigh‐resolutionpulses.
When testing a split meter, a separate test of the calculator by
means of Kamstrup calibration equipment for
MULTICAL®603andMETERTOOLHCWcanbecarriedout.Flowsensorandtemperaturesensorsaretestedseparately
too.
Integrationspeed
Whenconfiguringthemeter,youselecttheintegrationmode,whichthemetercanuseunder“Integrationmode>L<”.
IrrespectiveoftheselectedIntegrationmode,
themetercanbesetto“Testmode”bybreakingthetestsealand
activatingthetestswitch.In“Testmode”,themeterusesa2‐secondintegrationintervaljustasin“Mainsmode”.The
meterremainsintestmodeuntilthesupplyisdisconnectedandthemeterisrestarted,
orfor9hours.
Whenthemeterisin“Testmode”,youcaninitiateanauto‐integrationbymakingaforceddial‐up(botharrowkeys
arepresseduntil“CALL”isshowninthedisplay).
